I started this painting in May, inspired by the Th I started this painting in May, inspired by the Three Leagues of my homeland, who stood side by side at Calven, resisting the Holy Roman Empire. While painting, life moved too, my son reached big milestones, friends and family visited, and I had to say goodbye to my dog after 12 years. Hanging it today feels like closing a chapter. This is CALVEN I.
